We empower mothers to overcome homelessness and poverty.

  • Services provided for up to twelve months  for single mother with up to two child (ren) and pregnant women (18-35)  
  • Shared living arrangement 
  • Residents have separate bedroom, share common areas (living room, kitchen, laundry room)
  • Single mothers must be employed or actively seeking employment 
  • Resident are required to contribute toward 30% of net income for living expenses
  • Must be alcohol and drug free and no serious health concerns (single mother or child(ren)
  • Services provided for up to 24 months for single mothers (18-35) with child(ren).
  • Resident will reside in a single family dwelling.
  • Resident must be employed.
  • Resident will be responsible for rent and utilities. 
  • Case management services provided to assist residents with short and long term goals.

Single mothers (18-35) in the program have to qualify for this housing option. 

  • Case management and financial counseling  provided.

Weekly contact with residents will be provided to help residents accomplish short and long term goals. Case manager will monitor and document resident’s progress and provide linkage to community services and support systems.

Workshops and hands on activities provided to develop and/or enhance skills such as cooking, budgeting, utilizing public transportation, job readiness, resume writing, interview skills and self esteem.

Financial planning assistance for resident’s future to include accounts set up by residents to assist with a down payment on  new residence, moving expenses and the like as she moves toward financial self- sufficiency.

Provide assistance with childcare needs.

Individual and group counseling designed to address emotional and social needs.

Workshops, assignments, and community activities to develop job readiness skills and increase employability.
